A rare video of MJ I haven’t seen before. This is from the 1990 Eastern Conference Semifinals when MJ’s Bulls defeated Barkley’s Sixers 4-1. Watch as MJ sprints back on defense and snatches Barkley’s shot with two hands. The block was discounted, but it’s always enjoyable (and slightly alarming since what we’ve seen in his retirement) to watch MJ compete with that ferocity. Remember, this clip comes BEFORE MJ crossed the threshold into NBA champion, and he had to wait another year after the Pistons eliminated this squad 4 games to 3 in the Eastern Conference Finals.
