Dinner with Common
The dinner with common was cool…I’m not the groupie type so I didn’t lose it when he walked through the door but I definitely had my camera ready lol he turned out to be as cool and as laid back as he seems on tv and the movies…he had a lot of charisma…all of the ladies were going crazy lol one girl cried when he hugged her…it was weird though…when he shook my hand he stares at you…I thought dude was trying to see into my soul…he said “you seem like a real respectable dude…I’m glad you came out and showed your support”…or something like that…lol…I don’t really remember…but I then repeated a similar sentiment…we took a pic and then he looked at me again…with that weird stare…idk…I just walked away after that…the pic came out nice…i’ll post it when I get it from my friends camera…
after the dinner…he did a lecture on greatness and why we should pursue it and eluded to the fact that we have a greater purpose then our degrees and that we have to pursue our passions…which was all a great reminder for me…the craziest part of his lecture was his freestyle to start it off…he rapped about our school in detail…not some cookie cutter rap…but he named streets and buildings and events and stuff that makes our school special…i was thrown…and impressed…he had our students going crazy…and I was FRONT ROW TO ALL OF THIS…
